Qixi Festival
There is a special festival in our country, it named Qixi. We celebrate it at 7th July in the lunar calendar. There is two kind of date use in our country. All the traditional festivals are kept with the lunar calendar. In the past, the Qixi was an important festival for girls. It was also called daughters’ day. In the evening of that day, the girls got together and sat in the courtyards. They put many snacks and fruits on the table, such as peanuts, melon seeds, walnuts, watermelons and so on. Then they di
