I will go home !

Just 7 days, what a great number for me! It is the number of days that I go back to China. I’m more and more exciting these days. It’s a long time that I don’t see my family and friends. It is also the first time that I have leave home for such a long time. I’m really missing my hometown. I look forward to meet my family and friends. I’m expecting the next Wednesday so much!

the strange weather in UK

Summer is coming, the weather also changed. But I found the weather here is so different from China. At first, I think the summer will be very hot and sunny. But here is always rain and has big wind. The rain always comes soon and finishes soon. Sometimes it is sunny but suddenly starts to rain. Sometimes, today is such hot, but tomorrow become very cold. So strange the weather here! I’m really confused.

the shoes

I have been UK for nearly 8 months. I like shopping in Leicester, but I found a big problem here. It's really hard to buy a suited shoe for me!! The smallest shoe in all the shops is 36, one more size bigger than my feet. All my shoes that I bought here are a little bit big. I wonder if all the foreigners’ feet are bigger than Chinese?

DEATH NOTE

Last weekend, I went to city center. At a street near High Cross, I found a comic store. It’s really a pleasantly surprised for me. In the store, there are lots of comics. Not only are west comics, but also many Japanese comics. Most of them are such familiar. When I saw them I couldn’t the excited mood. Of cause, all the comics are English. I scanned all the books on the bookshelf. Suddenly, I saw a white book on left side of a bookshelf. Death Note! It’s the new novel of Death Note! I was so excited at that moment. Death Note is one of my favorite detective stories. I took it immediately and went to counter paid it. So lucky I was, I thought that day.

Newsletter:I'm editor

It is my turn to be the editor for this week. It was a really hard work, but it also was an interesting work. I need decide all the main content and typeset it. I spent lots of time to think about them. But, in another aspect, it is exactly fresh for me to make a newsletter. So I am such interested in it. When I finished it, I found a little bit achievability.

London

This weekend, we went to London to shopping. But the weather was not good, big wind with light rain. First, we went to a famous restaurant in the China Street. We finished a delicious lunch. We went to Oxford Street for shopping. But, because of the weather, I have got a headache. How a tired day shopping!

Jyoti

This week, we did a new project - interview. The interviewee is Jyoti who works in our International Study Center. That afternoon, we sit in a classroom with Jyoti and listened to her story about herself. She told a lot of things to us, why she came to UK, how she lives here and her sons. Her life is really colorful and especial. In the several years, she moved her family and changed the nationality, got a lot of different experience. Now she has two sons and lives in a happy family. I think it’s a really wonderful life.

watch cartoon again

Few weeks past,I’m really boring. All the English TV plays that I was following are finished. This week, I found an interesting anime. I haven’t watched Japanese’s cartoon for a long time. In fact, I start miss it. This cartoon is said about a magic world. There is a school city in Japan, all the students live there and learn some super power. At other place, there are lots of enchanter, there can use the incantation. And they have 13-thousand banned magic books. A little girl takes control of them. Some person want get these and start to chase the girl. One day, the little girl meets a special boy in that school city and be saved. The cartoon is full of magic battle. It will brings me great visual feeling. I’m so interested in the magic world. Sometimes, it is also very funny and makes me relaxed. That’s why I love cartoons so much.

sport center

This term is not busy like before so I decided to do some sport in a gym with Emma. Sam introduced a sport center in our university and brings us to join it. Then we start our sport plan. In that center there are lots of machines and many people in it. There also has a swimming pool. Emma is good at swimming, but I am not. So Emma said she want teach me, then I start to learn swim. It is a lit bit hard and I am really afraid about the water. But I think it is worth to try.

Heroes

In the holiday, I have watched a lot of TV plays, such as Heroes, Lost, Prison Break and CSI. I think the Heroes is a wonderful one of them. It is said about some people who have the super power and fight against the bad person. At first they can’t understand who is righteous and who is nefarious. But, finally, they all get together and save the world. I was very interested in their super powers. How I wish that I can have one power of them! That’s so cool!

Barbecue in the rain

Several days before the new term starts, we went to the big artificial lake for a barbecue. It was a nice plan, but, unfortunately, it’s raining that day. We went there by a car and we all hope the rain will stop on the way. When we got to the destination, it stopped raining. Then we made the fire immediately and started to barbecue. But, just a while, it rain again. Because it was not very heavy, we still enjoyed ourselves. We cooked a lot of things: beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, and some vegetables. We made the chopsticks by branches and eaten the food under the rain. That was a so special barbecue! I think I can’t forget ever.

Easter holiday

After last term, we’ve got an Easter holiday. At first day of April, I went to Alton towers with my friends. It is a really big amusement park that I haven’t been before. There are lots of things to play. We spend all day there and felt so pleasure and exciting! Moreover, there are many interesting game. If you win, you can get a big doll. But it was too hard, we failed many times.We also watched a drama while we were having a rest. It was quite funny. We all bought a lot of things there. Before we left there, I bought a big ballon for a souvenir.

Casino Royale

During the Easter Holiday, I have read a book – Casino Royale. It is written by Ian Fleming. I really like the book, because it is one story of James Bond. I’m interested in these kind books, such as detectives, spies and other things like this. I think they are so exciting. Whenever I read them, I always lost myself.

New term comes again

I haven’t written it for a long time. Now the new term have been started for nearly one month, I think my life have to back to normal. Maybe this term is easier than before, but some work must to be continued. I found I forget lots of things in the Easter holiday, it’s a terrible omen.
Now, I have to catch up on some article that I should write this month.

I had a stomachache today

Today, I’ve got a stomachache. The reason is unknown. In the morning class, I started to have a pain. It felt so bad. After I went to toilet, I got a little better. But, in the afternoon, the feeling come back. I try to think what I have eaten this day. But everything is no problem. So strange! At night, I drank some warm water and have a rest. I wish tomorrow I will be fine.

Lonely

These days, I am a little homesick. I want to go home very much and see my friend. But, I can’t. I have decided to stay here. Although I also have friends here, I still feel a bit lonely. I don’t know why I feel so. Maybe there is someone will go. I haven’t seen him for a long time. I am missing him a lot. Anyway, I can’t go to home right now. So, I decided to travel some place in England. I think it can bring a good mood. Maybe, I will feel better after that.

Computer Problem

Yesterday, after I came back from the library of the university, I found that my computer didn't work. I couldn't turn on it ! Bad luck! When I pressed the power switch, the computer started operate. I could hear the sound and see every light was shining. But the screen was still black. I waited for 20 minutes, but nothing hapened! I was so worried about it. After a while, I decided to try it again. At this time, some words come out and said that I need to into the safe mode. I followed it and turned on the computer successfully. But, in this mode I couldn't use anything that link to the internet! It means that I couldn't sent anything to my friends and couldn't get any informations from others. I also couldn't write the blogger. That's terrible! Finally, I closed it and went to bed. I think there was just one thing taht I can do - to repair it on saturday!

Our Dinner

These are our dinner that I cook with Emma every day. Although them are not very nice as we have in China, but they are our own product! It is the best for us. Before I come here, I never cooked. I learned cooking here and failed many times at first. During the Christmas Holiday, my parents told me a lot of things. Now I can cook better than before. Every night, we can have a nice dinner!

Bad travel to Birmingham

last weekend, I went to Birmingham to shopping. But I choosed a wrong day. It's sunday. The traffic service wasn't very well at that day. I went to train station and bought a ticket. After that the attendant told me that the train will come after an hour. So, I need to wait for an hour! Then I seached for the information and found that there was no train to Birmingham direct! Bad luck!

Happy Farm

There is a game called Happy Farm on the Xiaonei. It is a website likes the Facebook and for all Chinese students of any school to find their classmates. This game plays on a virtual farm. You need to plant, harvest and sell. You can plant many kinds of fruits and vegetables. And it has the grades. If you plant more things, you can get higher grade. Then you’ll be allowed to plant higher grade plants and sell them for higher price. You also need to weeding, watering and get rid of the pests. It is very interesting. You will feel that you are a big farmer and own a big farm.

Lollipop

It is a new band called Lollipop. It is in Taiwan and it just set up for 2 years. I like it very much. The reason is not only their songs, but also the process of their growth. Their nisus really moved me. They are quite young and one of them just a few months older than me (the third one from the left). His name is Prince. I like him best. He is very handsome and his smile is very lovely. Coincidentally, he has the same birthday as my best friend in the high school. He made a song - I’m sorry. I listen it every day and never be dreary.

sad movie weekend

This weekend, I have watched many sad stories. I cried again and again, and I couldn't stop until I was difficult to breathe. I think I am a sensitive person. I am easily to cry if there is something affecting.
The film which I like most is Koizora(sky of love). It is said about a girl's first love. The girl and the boy get together difficult. And after they got all the people's wishes, the boy found he had cancer. Finally, the boy died and left the girl alone.
Here is a MV for the film. Now I still want to cry while I am watching it. It brings me too much felling.

Mulan part 6

Parents heard that Mulan came back. They went out of the town immediately to welcome their daughter. Sister heard Mulan returned. She dressed up immediately. Brother heard Mulan came back. He killed the pig and sheep immediately to prepare for dinner. When Mulan returned to her home, she went to her own room and sit on her bad. She took off the military uniform and put on the girl’s clothing. She made up in front of the mirror and put on some jewelry. Then she went out to see the comrade-in-arms. They all were very surprised that Mulan was a girl!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Today, we talked about Roald Dahl in the class. He is a famous writer. He has written many stories for children. There is a film named Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It is based on one story of Roald Dahl’s. I have never watched the film, but it sound great. So I decided to watch it at night.
Now I have watched it. I think it is so interesting and the factory is so miraculous. I like that place that all the things are made of chocolate. It’s wonderful. If I can live there, I’d never left.
At the end, I found one thing that the family is the most important thing in your life.

Wilfred Thesiger

It is an amazing life about Wilfred Thesiger. He has crossed the Empty Quarter of Arabian desert. He lived with marsh Arabs in southern Iraq. He has published many books.
Wilfred Thesiger was born in 1911. He was grown up in a mud building in Addis Ababa. His father is a diplomat.
Wilfred Thesiger learnt to ride when he was 3years old. He was interested in hunting at 4years old. Then he went to school in England when he was 8years old.
At 23 years old, he found the source of Awash River in Abyssinia. Then he explored the Tibesti Mountains of Chad. During his hunting period, he shot some lions, buffalo and elephants. And he killed a hippo with a spear.
In World War Ⅱ, he fought in Africa. Then he fought with Druse horsemen in Syria.
1950s, he travelled in Pakistan and Afghanistan. He took many photos and kept a diary. Recently, he published a book about this experience.
In mid-1990s, he returned to England form Kenya. He lived in nursing home near London since then. There were many operations on his eyes, but he was still strong.
He has never married and regretted it. And he never wanted a child because it was too expensive.

Weekend

Fir
I had a bigger early dinner. Why? It was because I didn’t have lunch. After the afternoon class, I felt very hungry. Then I went to a little restaurant and offered many foods. After 3 hours, I was back to our room and felt so tired. So I fell asleep.
Sat
This day was Valentine’s Day. I woke up at 1 pm and had a later lunch. Then I fell asleep again. At 5 pm, Cindy called me and I went out to open the door for her. Then Emma came and we decided to have a dinner in a Chinese restaurant. After the dinner we offered to sing some songs for 3 hours. Then we got out the restaurant and walked around the city center for an hour. Finally, we went back and fell asleep.
Sun
We woke up in the afternoon again. Then we watched some films together. After that we went to the Chinese supermarket and bought many meatball and fish ball. In the evening, we cooked a hot-pot.

Black Beauty

This week I have finished the book – Black Beauty. It is a good story about a black horse. Firstly he is very luckily. He lived in a family and has the best training. He saved his master several times. Hid master loved him very much. But some things happened. The master has to sell the horse and then the horse experienced great difficulty. At last, the horse can’t work anymore and no one wants him. He became old and weak. Fortunately, the master found his horse at the end. Black Beauty went back to his home.
I think it is a classic story and I like it very much. When I finished the book, I also watched the film.

Yesterday

Yesterday Emma and I were absent for the class. Actually, we really regret it. But I can’t control this situation. Yesterday morning, I was keeping awake to do the homework. At last, I have to write an essay. But I have no idea about the topic. I was thinking for a long time. After I finished it, it was nearly 5am. Emma was an hour earlier than I. She asked me to give her a morning call. But I was very tired and had a slight headache at that time. So I went to bed and fall asleep immediately. I think I slept like a log, and I forgot the time to wake up. Of course, I forgot to call Emma. When Emma called me, it was nearly 2pm. It was too late to go to school and we haven’t eaten anything. Then we decide to go to the library after a late lunch. We do the self-study until 7pm.

Christy's Three Wishes

Once upon a time, there was a man called Christy. Christy lived in the countryside and he was a hard-working farmer. He worked hard every day for 30 years but he never had any more money than the coins that he had in his pocket.
One day, Christy was working on his small farm, when suddenly he saw something moving in the long grass. Christy was brave but he was not stpid, so he walked forward slowly. He looked into the long grass, and he saw a tiny little man who was wearing a green hat.
The little man said ,"Please don't kill me."
Christy was scared so he lifted his fist.
"If you don't kill me, I'll give you 3 wishes", said the little man.
Christy thought long and hard.
"Maybe I need some new clothes."Christy looked his coat and said to himself.
"All right!" The little man snapped his fingers and then a new coat was put on Christy.
"Wow! So nice it is!" Christy was very surprised. And he turn to the little man,"Could you give me a donkey please? I want it for a long time."
"No problem." The little conjured out a donkey for the farmer.
"Oh, it's miraculous!" Christy asid,"Thank you so much! Would you like to have the dinner with me ? I'm so glad to see you!"
Finally, Christy invited the little man to his haouse and they had a delicious dinner torether.

What couldn't I live without

Haha...Conan and InuYasha! Who drew the picture? I have to admit that you're so talented!
In fact, I love these two animes very much. When I was 15 years old, I started to watch the anime. I loved it very much. And I watched them more and more. Later I began to learn the Japanese by myself because all the great anime says Japanese. So I can say that I couldn’t live without it. Although it isn’t the most important things of my life, I’d like to watch them at all time. It just likes the dinner or water for me, I need them every day.
This comic is Death Note. It is the first English comic I've bought!

Adrenalin

Last October, I was lost in the city center because I didn’t know the way well. It was a Sunday. I got up at 10am. Then I went to city center to buy some food for cooking. I knew the way to the market very well, but after I bought all the things, I couldn’t find the back. The market was big, but I just been to the other side of it. I thought it would be easy to get back to the way which I came. However, I was wrong. The roads in England are so hard to go. They always are tortuous. When you walk on it you will never find that you have already changed the direction. I went forward and then I found all the buildings around me were strange. At this time, I realized that I have lost my way! I was a little afraid. But there were many people also walked on this road. So I followed them and thought it would be another way. After few minutes, these people who walked in front of me got into a bar! Then I became alone on this road. I was more and more afraid. I want to turn round but I didn’t know the way too! It was near 3pm and the things which I bought were very heavy. I have no time to be afraid. Then I decided to keep going forward. Fortunately, I found the main road which surrounds the city center. I walked along it and I found the university which beside my accommodation. Finally, I went back to my room.

Lantern Festival

Today is January 15 on the lunar calendar, it is the Lantern Festival. The day is the ead of our spring festival.

We'll make many kinds of lanterns today. It'll be very beautiful at night. All the ornate lanterns hang around the house.

There also are many lanterns on the boat. When the boat drives on the river. We can see the reflection in the river. It makes you feel that you are in the dreamlike world.

At the especial day, we have a especial food. It called rice glue ball. By reason that the moon at tonight is the fullmoon. So we made it round and eat it at this day.


At first, it is white and have the black sesame or meat inside. The sesame one is sweet and the meat one is salty. I like the black sesame one very much！

Later,whit the long history of the traditional festival. We have more and more kinds of the rice glue ball. We start to use more different fillings and change to many colours. It becomes more delicious and looks very nice.

This week

This week, it is always snowing. Because of it, we have several days off. We went to play whit the snow and took a lot of photos. We also made a big snowman. We were very happy. But on the other side, we missed a few classes. That means next week we’ll get more classes and homework to do. We need to use the free time to do self-study firstly. So I think it is a happy week and it also is a busy week.

I have starred to listen to English songs these days. I have found many beautiful songs. Today, I listened to seasons in the sun. I liked it immediately. The sound was so soft. The words has a little sad, it reminds me of my past time in my former school.

Tired

This week I felt so tired. I don't know why, every day I just want to sleep. At night, I have got enough time to sleep. But I always dream during the night. What's more serious is that I dreamed one by one, it's never stopped. Every morning, when I get up, I am very tired and don't want wake up. What can I do to change it ?

Qixi Festival

There is a special festival in our country, it named Qixi. We celebrate it at 7th July in the lunar calendar. There is two kind of date use in our country. All the traditional festivals are kept with the lunar calendar. In the past, the Qixi was an important festival for girls. It was also called daughters’ day. In the evening of that day, the girls got together and sat in the courtyards. They put many snacks and fruits on the table, such as peanuts, melon seeds, walnuts, watermelons and so on. Then they did the needlework and prayed to Qijie reverently. They believe that the fairy would gives them intelligent mind and dexterous hands. It is said that looked up to the sky at the night of Qixi, you can see the Cowherd and the Weaving Maid meet at the galaxy. Therefore, girls also prayed for good love. It was a very romantic day in ancient China. Nowadays, the Qixi festival becomes the Chinese Valentine's Day. At night, all the young lovers stay with each other and enjoy the sweet time. The day is full of love!

SNOWING

Today is snowing. It is the first time I see the snow in England. How big it is! We are all very happy to see it. And because of the big snow, we have no class in the afternoon.

Although it is so cool outside, we all run out to touch the snow. We find a garden and start to make the snowman. So cute it is ! (*^__^*) ~

Shopping

This weekend, I went to shopping in the city center. I have bought many things in the two days. It was very luckily that the Levi's was on sale. I have bought a jean, its original price is 75 pounds. But I just paid for 22 pounds. I was so happy! The next days, I have bought a pair of shoes. The colour is white and grey. It looks very comfortable. So I like it very much.

The Yearling

This days, I have read a book. It's name is The Yearling. I got the book form Mr. Dan. It is said about a little boy and a fawn. I like animals very much, so I choose the book. It is written by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. Before I read it, I didn’t know anything about it. When I read it I found it was very interesting. The book always reminds me of my childhood. But it did have a happy ending. At last, the fawn was growing up. And the yearling must be killed for food.Finaly, the boy killed the yearling by himself. I was so sad for that.

The girl lives next to me

I live in a flat of the Grange. It has five rooms and a kitchen. But there are just 4 person live in. One foreign girl and another chinese girls. The foreign girl lives next to me and we are the first two person live here. Her name is Zara. She comes from India and she is Muslim. She told me in her country they always speak English. So her English is very good. She is as old as me and it also is the first year for her to study here. She said she was missing her home, her parents and her friends so much. It’s the same as me. Last week, she was very busy because she has five exams. She said she didn’t have more time to cook the dinner and she felt so tired every day. But now she has finished them, everything is all right.

What did I do last night

At first, I cooked the dinner with Emma. We had a delicious meal in the evening. It was included potatos, tomatos, eggs, tofu and rice. While we were cooking, we talked to a foreign girl who lives next to me. She said she was so tired because of the study. After that, I returned to my bedroom. I made a cup of tea for myself. Then I opened the MSN and chated online. We used chinese first, but , after a while, my friend changed the idea. He said I must to use English more. For this, we chated in English in the next two hours. While we were chating, I did many things on my xiaonei and QQzone. These are two other kinds of blogger of mine. After the chating, I did some reading and noted down the new words. Then I went to bed to sleep.

Happy New Year

This weekend is our Chinese new year. It's a very important day for China. Every family will sit together and have a huge dinner. But now I'm not at home. It's the first time I was out in the New Year. Actually, I'm missing my family so much. Therefore, I join a party whit my friends. We have the hot pot together.

New Start

This week, we start the new term. There are some difference between last term. We get some new classmates here and a new teacher. This term will be more diffecult than before. I thought more about my study. I am thinking what should I do now and what can I do in the future time. I realize that I need to do more at english. It is very important for me. I can't do any thing without good english here. Now I must study harder and harder.

My Holiday

I return to china after last term. It's the chirstmas holiday. We had three weeks to get toghter with our family and friends. It was a nice time.I'm very happy.
First week, I want to many places. They were shanghai, suzhou, changshu and jiaxing. I had see many relatives. They were all very willing to meet me. I recelived many gifts and best wishes.
The second week, I stay at home. I was chating with many old friends. We all missed each other very much by reason that we did meet for a long time. But most of them were in the school at that time. Because there was no chirstmas holiday in China. My friends just have 3 days off between 1st January to 3th January. At that time, I met my best friend and invited her to my home. We were so happy to saw her. We talked about our new life and laughed a lot. The three days were so wonderful!
The last week, I prepared for the next trip. I went shopping and bought many things that I would need.

I'm back

Last week, I came back to England. It was my second time to here. I have got many siuts, they were all very heavy and I have to move them all by myself. It was a hard work for me. When I arrived my flat, I was very tired. But I was a little happy beacuse I leaved here too long. I started to missing my new friends here.
